 The Pièce de Résistance is a chic, online, sweets boutique (and blog!) specializing in uniquely CUSTOM, hand-decorated, gourmet, sugar cookies for all holiday, wedding, birthday, and everyday celebrations. It is run by Birmingham-based, bubbly baker Syrah Gilley. You can find her daily at PDRsweets.com, as well as out in her garden, crafting in the kitchen, and, if she’s lucky, gallivanting in some new corner of the globe.  

 She has a unique angle on this “sweet” venture of hers, having studied product design first, then developing an infinite curiosity for all things culinary. PDR is a delightful fusion of her appreciation for the art of cooking and the beauty of hand-crafted things.
